Cumbria Easter Rally based in Kirkby Stephen and the surrounding areas. Originally started by Cumbria Classic Coaches owned by the Hamer family. This event happens every year on the Saturday and Sunday of Easter weekend. You can exhibit your vintage vehicle or simply enjoy other peoples. You can ride on classic public service vehicles of varying ages and a donation would be welcome. These run from Kirkby Stephen to Brough and other villages around and about including rides to The Fat Lamb, Ravenstonedale, and meet trains arriving at Kirkby Stephen station on the Settle to Carlisle railway line. The road run sets off on the Saturday at 4pm from Brough and tours the local countryside in a convoy of classic vehicles and returns you to the starting point. The event is a chance to visit the Eden Valley and enjoy the local shops and hospitality along with side stalls and entertainment at varying stop off points on the buses journey. Plenty for children and adults alike to enjoy.
